Biography

Heather Thomas Van Deren has had a deep love for music since childhood, starting piano lessons at age 7 and performing at recitals and contests. Though saved in her teens, it was as a young mother that she felt God’s call to sing for Him. She spent 10 years with the trio “Hearts to Him” and 8 years with “Rejoice,” also serving in Prison & Jail Ministry. As a soloist for nearly 15 years, Heather has pursued singing, songwriting, and speaking, releasing several award-winning albums, including Just in Time and Movin’ On. Her music spans genres, with Christian Country at its core, and has aired worldwide.

Heather is a board member of W-3 Women’s Whole Worth Network and hosts the testimony series “What Love Means.”She lives with her husband on a farm in Millsap, TX, where they raise Black Angus show cattle. After life-changing events, Heather embraces a fearless faith, saying, “God is my Shelter, my Peace. Like Gideon, I want to possess fearlessness and readiness. It’s the least I can do for my Lord.”
